Training Updates

A cornerstone of the Scout programs is training and there are many opportunities available.

They come in a number of different methods.

Basic training can be conducted in either an interactive classroom style or an on-line version

from the comfort of your home.

Supplemental training is generally conducted in a classroom style environment.

Roundtable

These are leaders meetings held monthly in each district. All leaders are encouraged to attend! That means Den Leaders, Assistants, everyone! Leaders find information about upcoming district and council events and learn ways to improve the program. Most Roundtables will cover material based on participants' interest. Leaders can learn a new skill or get advice on how to solve a problem. Participation at Roundtables covers a training requirement for leader’s square knot awards.
